Autumn is here

I cannot believe that it has been so long since my last post - I do apologise!!!! Well we are well into September now and autumn is certainly here - I keep waiting for the Indian Summer that we must be due by now!!!

I have had a very busy summer season which kicked off in spectacular style with the Strathmore Highland Games at the glorious Glamis Castle (birthplace of our late Queen Mother), I then joined forces with two other stallholders to introduce Barefoot to the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh which was full of hard work and giggles!!! As you can see from the photo Lowther Horse Driving Trials in England turned into Glastonbury - I never knew mud could get into so many places ha ha.

We have got some fantastic books in for the winter season most particularly Arthur of Albion - this is the most stunning book all about King Arthur and his Round Table so do check out my website for pictures and more info on this and all the other fab new products in - keep an eye out for the Camel and Llama!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

What a start to 2008, I am just listening to a lady on the radio from Scotland saying that there is no snow in Scotland!! Not sure where she is living as we have complete whiteout and blizzard here!! Christmas was great, we spent it in Switzerland with my sister and her family so despite my youngest coming down with chicken pox two days earlier we still managed to have a good time.

I hope you all had a good one and are looking forward to what 2008 brings to you and yours.
